MOSAIK is a reference-guided assembler comprising of four main modular programs:
- MosaikBuild
- MosaikAligner
- MosaikSort
- MosaikAssembler.
MosaikBuild converts various sequence formats into Mosaik’s native read format. MosaikAligner pairwise aligns each read to a specified series of reference sequences.
