GridWay is a powerful meta-scheduler that enables you to define jobs that can be dispatched to next available cluster based on specified job requirements or cluster availability.

As with any resource scheduler, it is important to familiarize yourself with the features of the scheduler so that you can effectively leverage it to meet your needs.

Like all resource schedulers, GridWay supports the definition of jobs using a template. A job template must contain the executable you are interested in running at a minimum. It would look like this:

EXECUTABLE=/bin/hostname
