The Research Computing Team

The research computing platform is built on a Linux. As such, file system permissions can be used to manage access between collaborators to data sets and files. It's important to understand how these permissions can be use to build collaboration spaces. This page will focus on conceptual overview to help you build an intuitive understanding. It will also provide guidance for actions in specific scenarios, for example the actions a project administrator would take to add access for a new collaborator
